Aluminum Alloy Pinch Valve (Manual, Flanged, Abrasion Resistant)
The Aluminum Alloy Pinch Valve is a specialized, durable valve designed specifically for handling highly abrasive, corrosive, or slurry media. Its operating principle relies on compressing an internal rubber sleeve (tube/hose) to control flow, meaning the medium only contacts the sleeve, not the metal body, providing exceptional abrasion resistance and corrosion protection.

⭐ Working Principle and Structure
The Pinch Valve’s mechanism is designed for handling difficult media where traditional valves would fail quickly due to erosion.
Structure: Composed of two halves of the Aluminum Alloy body (left and right), an internal Rubber Sleeve, large and small valve stems, upper and lower gates (jaws), and guide posts.
Closing Action: When the operator turns the handwheel clockwise, the large and small valve stems simultaneously drive the upper and lower gates (jaws) to move towards each other. These gates compress the internal rubber sleeve, squeezing it closed to stop the flow.
Opening Action: Turning the handwheel counter-clockwise releases the compression, and the elastic rubber sleeve returns to its fully open position.
Operational Safety Note: Due to the elasticity and pressure resistance of the rubber sleeve, operators should stop turning the handwheel immediately upon feeling moderate resistance, indicating the valve has reached its fully closed or open limit. Do not use excessive force or auxiliary tools.
🛡️ Advantages and Applications
Extreme Wear Resistance: The flowing medium only contacts the robust Rubber Sleeve. The flexible rubber material is highly resistant to abrasion from slurries and powders, giving it a much longer life than metal valve seats.
Corrosion Resistance: The medium does not touch the aluminum alloy body, making the valve corrosion-resistant, dependent only on the sleeve material selected.
Cost-Effective Maintenance: The valve’s lifespan is 4-6 times that of ordinary valves. When wear occurs, only the Rubber Sleeve needs to be replaced, while the Aluminum Alloy body is reusable, significantly reducing maintenance costs.
Application Industries: Highly suitable for industries dealing with granular or dense particulate flows:
Mining/Ore DressingCement and Concrete Production
Chemical and Alkali Plants
Power Generation (fly ash handling)
Non-metallic mineral processing
